An workshop of practical sewing skills.  You will learn how to use a sewing machine, how to hand sew, as well as how to sew on buttons, take up hems, sew seams and darts as well as simple sewing techniques and what you need in a basic sewing kit for yachts or villas.  There is a maximum of 4 students per course.

What the workshop covers

  • The sewing kit
  • How to thread a needle and tie a knot
  • How to sew on buttons
  • The sewing machine and how to use it
  • Hand sewing and some basic stitches
  • How to sew a seam and neaten an edge
  • How to take up trouser hems by machine and by hand
  • How to make a dart
